We Go to the Campus

This Sunday we closed our vision series with the question "Why do we go to the campus?" through the story of Zacchaeus in Luke 19:1–10. Zacchaeus was a chief tax collector, labeled by his community as a traitor, an outsider, and a sinner, much like the labels the younger generation carries today: anxious, too sensitive, weak. Yet he was curious about Jesus, and even though his own limitations and the crowd stood in his way, he ran ahead and climbed a tree to see Him.

Jesus stopped, looked up, and called him by name. He invited Zacchaeus to come down so

He can stay at his house. That encounter changed everything for Zacchaeus, giving him a new identity meaning and a purpose. In the same way, students today can find their true identity, purpose, and belonging in Jesus. As a church, were also encouraged to find our own Zaccaheus, just like Jesus who "came to seek and to save the lost" (Luke 19:10).
