AWE(struck) - Everlasting Father

When we have a wrong or limited view of who God is, we lack the courage to face life and do what He has called us to do. 

For the past two weeks we’ve been looking at Isaiah 9:2-7 where we see an oppressed people living in darkness rescued by God whose names are Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace. 

As we looked at what those names mean, we discovered how extraordinary and powerful the God is that we serve. 

But it doesn’t stop there, the third name Isaiah 9 reveals is Everlasting Father. While looking at the Lords prayer in Matthew 6:9-13 we looked at 5 aspects of God as a Father:

- Position

- Provision

- Pardon

- Potential

- Protection
