The Kingdom Way - Living for Rewards

Last Sunday we continued our series on Jesus’ sermon on the Mount where He explains what it is to be a Kingdom citizen and how to live in right relationship with God and people. 

As we dove into Matthew 6:1-21 we saw that Jesus had something to say about religious practices. A religious practice is something that we do habitually, in order to live in right relationship with God and our neighbor. However, we can misuse these practices to advance ourselves and seek the honor of people instead of the honor and reward of God. 

He is a generous God who sees us and longs to rewards us and He invites us to think about which rewards we are craving for and where we store them.
