Does It Even Matter? - If God Exists, Why Is There Evil in the World?

In the third part of our ‘does it even matter’ series, we looked at the question if God exists, why is there evil in the world? 

We can try to answer this question in different ways; we can reason with it in a philosophical way, or look at it from a theological point of view, but all of those ways don’t touch the heart of the question that often lies beneath it. Reality is that each one of us are personally going through hard things. So, how do we reconcile these hardships with a loving God? 

And so we looked at the passage in 1 Peter 1:3-12 where Peter encourages the suffering believers to do 3 things:

1. look back to the cross

2. look ahead to the resurrection

3. look into to gospel
