AWE(struck) - Prince of Peace

In Isaiah 9 we see that a child is born, a son been given and His names are: Wonderful Counselor - Mighty God - Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace.
As we’ve been looking at the different names during this past series AWE(struck), we ended it last Sunday with Prince of Peace through examining the story of Jesus calming the storm in Mark 4:35-41.
In that story we are confronted with 3 questions:
- the disciples asking Jesus: Don’t you care?
- Jesus asking the disciples: Why are you afraid?
- the disciples asking: Who is this?
We looked at how the storms in our lives reveal what is inside of us and how the revelation of Him becomes the building stone to walk in the peace no matter what the storms are.
