Chosen: Walking with God - Deborah

"Wake up, wake up, Deborah!

This Sunday we started with our new 8 week series 'Chosen: Walking with God'. We are looking at different characters and what we can learn from their walk with God. Simon Kicked off the series with our first Biblical character, Deborah. 

Deborah was a Judge and Prophetess, one of only 2 people to hold this office. The other person was Samuel. Deborah was able to disciple a nation. With her skills within her sphere of influence she connected people to their purpose in God. They needed her to help them in their quest for God. Barack needed a direct word to mobilise his attack. Jael knew what she needed to do when confronted with the oppressor (Sisera). All because Deborah stood up and took her place in Gods plan.
