360° Honor: Honoring Those around us

Last Sunday we ended off our series called 360° Honor with looking at what it means to honor those next to us. In 1 Peter 2:17 it says: "Honor all people." This means also the people who we might not always see eye to eye with. We looked at 3 questions you can ask yourself when your in a difficult situation with someone and you still want to honor them.

1. With which eyes are you looking?

2. What is your default expectation or assumption?

3. Who are you wanting to please?

Let's ask Jesus this week to help us view those around us through His eyes. Let's expect the best of others and seek to honor them even when we don't agree with their behavior. And lastly let's remember that we should first and foremost seek to honor God and by honoring His creation we do just that!
