James 1:19 says ‘Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.’
Everyone simply means everyone. It means that nobody is excluded from learning the art of listening well, but also that the words that are coming out of our mouths should be thought through, designed to build up instead of breaking down people.
