Seek & Find: Lord, Teach Us to Pray

Last week we started our new series ‘Seek & Find’ with looking at prayer.

In Luke 11:1 one of the disciples asked Jesus: "Lord, teach us to pray”. Could it be that somehow they had noticed that the way Jesus related to God was different than the way how the religious teachers prayed?

In Daniel 11:32 we find that those who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. The word “know” in it’s original language is not merely intellectual but was deeply relational and experiential. In the same way God is inviting us into a deep relational, experiential and intellectual relationship of knowing Him and to be known by Him.
